Client story:
My name is [NAME REDACTED], and today I stand before you not just as a mother, not just as a woman who has known struggle, but as someone who has been given the gift of hope and the strength to begin again.
For a long time, my son and I lived in a place no one should ever have to call home inside a car that didn’t even run. Every day was uncertain. Every night, I prayed that somehow we’d find a way out, that somehow my child would see a different life than the one we were surviving.
When you live on the streets, dignity becomes a luxury. Safety becomes a prayer. And a warm meal or a soft pillow feels like a miracle. But we held on. I held on for my son. And then, when we had almost nothing left, Agape Unlimited opened a door I never thought would open.
They didn’t just give us a roof over our heads they gave us a foundation to build a life on. They saw me, not as someone broken, but as someone worthy of love, of help, of a future. That kind of compassion… that kind of belief… it changes people.
Today, I can cook dinner and eat it at a table with my son. I can tuck him into bed knowing we are safe. I can hear him laugh again really laugh, and feel joy instead of fear. For the first time in a long time, we are not just surviving… we are living.
To Agape Unlimited, your housing program is more than shelter it is healing. It is hope. It is a new beginning. I am beyond grateful. You have given me the chance to show my son what strength looks like, what love looks like, and what community truly means.
So from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for being the light when everything felt dark. Thank you for believing in me, and for giving us a place to call home. You have been a true blessing to our lives.
