Bainbridge High School Instrumental Music Boosters

Thank you for supporting the BHS Instrumental Music Boosters! We believe passionately in the importance of music education and music opportunities for all our district students. We know that music matters, both to our students and to the broader community. 

The BHS Band Program features three concert bands, a percussion ensemble, two jazz ensembles, a competitive marching band, a competitive winterguard, jazz combos, a New Orleans Brass Band, and a robust chamber music program. Students participate in regional and state competitions. They also are a positive force in our community, playing at local and regional events, bringing the joy of music to all.

Music education in schools is critically important: it supports cognitive strength in other academic endeavors, and is integral to social and emotional health of students in helping them acheive artistic expression. But music education is at risk. As our public schools face tightening budgets, music education can suffer in reductions of staff and support for the instruments and programs that support our students. The BHS Band Boosters rely on the generous support of our broader community to ensure that our students continue to have the support they need to acheive their goals and bring the joy of music to our community.
