$10,000 Goal

The Bremerton Central Lions Charitable Foundation was established in 1979. It is associated with the Bremerton Central Lions Club, who have been providing service to the Bremerton area for almost 100 years.  While we have a separate Board of Directors, all of the club members are members of the Foundation.

The Foundation, through generous giving by our members and the public, and through fundraisers, has accumulated a substantial endowment.  Annually we give a fixed portion of that back to Bremerton Area non-profits to assist them primarily with capital projects.  Worthy past recipients include the YMCA, Admiral Theatre, Habitat for Humanity, Boys and Girls Club, Coffee Oasis, Harrison Hospital, Bremerton Symphony and Holly Ridge.  We also provide a number of scholarships every year to mostly Bremerton, and Kitsap area students.

Giving Activity

Mission

The Lions Motto is “We Serve." For 98 years, our Bremerton Central Lions Club members have followed this mandate through the creation and support of a wide variety of community service projects, grants, and donations.

When caring people join together, roll up their sleeves and take action to make their community better, it’s a beautiful thing—and an incredible feeling for everyone involved. That’s Lions.

Being a Lion is about leading by example, building relationships and improving the world through kindness. It’s 1.4 million caring men and women serving together so they can make a lasting impact and change more lives.
