ENOCH CITY ARTS- Inspiring our community through the performing arts!

WHY THEATER? Because there’s no better way to captivate, illuminate, and explain the human heart than through a well-told story illustrated by acting and song.  That's why theater has continued for millennia: IT WORKS!

WHY ENOCH CITY ARTS?  Because we welcome all our Kitsap County neighbors to our East Bremerton location.  We choose uplifting and thoughtful works that intrigue adults and are still appropriate for children.  Together, in the dark of our theater, our audiences share emotions and understanding, and when the curtain comes down, they leave with fresh ideas as well as big smiles.

WHAT DO WE DO?  In addition to the plays or musicals of our theatrical season, we offer acting and singing classes for both adults and kids; they can improve their skills and feel confident about getting up on stage.  Our after school and summer camp drama classes improve kids' self-esteem and public speaking skills as they get applause from their families and friends.  In our music classes, people grow as they have fun raising their voices together in song.  And we do it with an all-volunteer staff! On the stage or behind the curtains, we depend on each other and thereby create a community of friendship and belonging. 

WHY HELP US?  Because we want to bring all the benefits of live community theater to YOU... (while paying our bills.)  We give you a safe, comfortable and friendly black-box theater to see our shows.  We license the popular and recent plays and musicals to bring you the most thoughtful and inspiring family entertainment.  We offer you caring, supportive and affordable classes to help you experience the joys of performing for yourself.  Help us give you the magic of the theater! 

WHY NOW?  Because we're growing!  We're looking to rent a space that's twice the size of our current 40 person theater.  More seats mean more ticket sales but we must fix the space to make it a theater.  We'll need lighting, curtains (lots of curtains), black ceiling paint (it's a theater thing), risers, a lobby... it goes on.
