While we officially formed in June 2024; Our individual journeys here began much earlier. Our board members have a diverse history and experience which bring balanced view to the needs of our community. Our Board of Directors is comprised of lifelong Kitsap County residents, Parents/Caregivers of individuals with developmental disabilities, military family members, and professionals working with disabled children and adults with over 20+ years combined experience. We are dedicated to creating the place that will support our greater community in living their most fulfilled lives.
Currently we host a weekly social group for young adults with developmental disabilities at the Seabeck Community Center. We are planning to expand to a second day this year, and more as we are able. Our long term goals are to have our own permanent location which can not only host social gatherings, but also provide life skills, job training, and overnight respite/supported living.
We aim to foster peace of mind for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
Our mission is to cultivate a community built on dignity, respect, and inclusivity that is accessible to all. We strive to provide a gathering place that brings peace of mind; a place where all are welcome, supported, and valued.
Donations through Kitsap Great Give directly make our programs possible for adults with developmental disabilities.
Community support helps cover the real costs of offering safe, inclusive activities—such as program supplies, accessible space, materials, and structured group experiences that reduce isolation and build community.
Contributions also support the staff and essential behind-the-scenes work required to deliver services responsibly, including coordinating care, communicating with families, and maintaining required DDA contracts. With additional funding, we can expand our programs to offer more hours and more days each week, allowing more participants to access meaningful, consistent opportunities for connection and growth.
