Kitsap Block Party

$5,000 Goal

Kitsap Block Party exists to serve three primary purposes: (1) to foster unity and gather community, (2) to give back to Kitsap County businesses and families; and (3) to raise funds for local youth athletics.

To Kitsap Block Party, success in fostering unity and giving back means providing Kitsap County with the opportunity to come together annually for wholesome recreation and a heap of fun. On top of offering this free family event, Kitsap Block Party's give-back efforts include gifting the first couple hundred school-aged attendees with backpacks full of school supplies to jump-start their school year. While giving back in this way has been most rewarding, Kitsap Block Party desires to do more by partnering with The Bremerton Backpack Brigade to collect food during the annual event for those in need. Lastly, Kitsap Block Party seeks to foster unity in the community by providing local Kitsap business owners with the opportunity to expand their customer base as vendors or sponsors. All types of vendors are hosted each year to ensure the party has something for everyone.

On top of giving back, this event serves to raise funds for youth athletic organizations to continue offering scholarships to underprivileged youth athletes, as well as to rent, maintain, or upgrade fields, facilities, and sports equipment. Kitsap Block Party is passionate about youth development.
