Join us for Kitsap Pride 2024, Saturday, July 20 at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds.

Your donation helps us continue our year-round community efforts and helps us ensure our festival is free for area LGBTQ+ families and youth.

Kitsap Pride produces the premier LGBTQ+ Pride event for Kitsap County. This festival provides an opportunity for community members to come together in an open and welcoming space. We try to provide a fun, family-friendly atmosphere along with educations and support opportunities.

Each year we are seeing growth in the festival. In 2021 we moved the festival to the Kitsap County Fairgrounds to accommodate the larger crowds. 2022 was our largest event yet and we expect 2023 to show even more growth. Our festival features over 60 local vendors including artisans, food vendors, businesses, sponsors, and government agencies. We try to lower barriers for participation by LGBTQ+ and BIPOC-owned and oriented businesses.

In 2022 we partnered with the Kitsap Regional Library and the Boys and Girls Club of Puget Sound to provide a teen space at the festival. We hope to expand on this in 2023 with more family-friendly programming. The North West Family Medicine Residency Center provided HIV and HepC testing in the park as well as first aid services.

Kitsap Pride has an all-volunteer board and is entirely supported through community donations, sponsorships, and grants.

Giving Activity

Mission

The mission of Kitsap Pride Network is to celebrate, support, and unite the LGBTQ+ community in Kitsap County.

Needs

We raise money to keep pride free for all. Our goal is $6,000 - basically $1 for each person we are planning the July 20th event for. This is about ten percent of the per-person cost for the event.
