Our Goal is to create a supportive community that empowers professionals in their fields.

Kitsap Professional Leaders of Color (PLOC) was formed in 2019.  The founding Steering Committee recognized a continued disparity in representation at Kitsap Community events and decision making tables. Community leaders continued to meet and provided support throughout COVID on topics such as Women and Men’s health, Grief and Loss, Philanthropy, Self Care and Managing Disease.

At Kitsap Professional Leaders of Color (Kitsap PLOC), our mission is to develop, mentor, and empower strong leaders of color in Kitsap County.

We believe that diverse leadership is essential for a vibrant and comprehensive community. Our focus is to provide critical networking opportunities, social supports, and educational resources to those who aspire to lead effectively and authentically.

Our goal is to cultivate essential skills and knowledge that help individuals overcome barriers and fuel their personal and professional growth. We want to provide space for healthy conversations around topics that impact underrepresented groups.

Your generous support allows us to expand our programs, reach more aspiring leaders, and create lasting change in our community. Together, we can empower future leaders to thrive and inspire the next generation in Kitsap County. Help us continue to move this vital work by contributing to Kitsap PLOC. Together, we can make a profound difference.
