Kitsap Racial Equity and Empowerment Fund was established to address the inequities for people and organizations within BIPOC communities in our region who have been marginalized by systemic racism. Grants are made to nonprofits and fiscally-sponsored projects whose leadership (staff and boards) are reflective of and accountable to communities of color, especially the Black community. This fund is led by a diverse representation of community leaders and supports culturally relevant programs, services and activities.
