Mission

Our aim is to re-home animals when appropriate, train permanent residents for volunteer therapy, and care for special needs or retirement animals for the duration of their life when necessary. We hope to bring awareness and education to the public about all animals and their needs.

Description

Melt My Heart Rescue and Sanctuary is the safe landing place for the misfit crew that needs a little something extra and a community like you. We're the place that will redefine it's environment based on the special needs of the residents and will provide every comfort and care throughout those golden years of life. Sometimes this can be costly, not just in finances, but in time and emotional tolls. Yet always worth it, every moment. Your donations provide for every unique case, a few among them; a cat with a deformed locked open jaw, to a dog who is blind, deaf, and tripod, to a bird with a heart and seizure condition.  

Our community connections allow us to provide educational advocacy, pet retention programs, pet food and supply distributions to households in need, and community non-profit collaboration efforts for major animal welfare needs.
