Firstly, thank you to everyone at the Kitsap Community Foundation for coordinating this massively impactful annual day of giving! We're grateful to be participating in our first Kitsap Great Give this year.

The Poulsbo Film Festival started in March of 2022 and had it's first festival run in October of 2022 at various locations in Historic Downtown Poulsbo including Western Red Brewing, Moe's on Liberty Bay, and Griffin Gallery NW. Of the 55 film submissions in 2022, we selected 32 indie shorts and features to makeup our initial season.

Fast forward to 2025 (year 4) where we received a total of 132 submissions and selected 63 films to screen for our audience! Our event has grown year over year and we're thrilled to become such a supportive and encouraging organization for emerging filmmakers.

Each year we present the award winner of the Student Film category with a $500 check to help boost their gear or to simply for the cost of living (which can often hinder the ability to create).

Thank you for your interest and support of the Poulsbo Film Festival Foundation! We look forward to growing the arts and culture scene here in Poulsbo and our region.

Your donation to our nonprofit will help to ensure the art of storytelling remains alive and well in Kitsap County!
