Rebuilding Hope Sexual Assault Center

A nonprofit organization

Rebuilding Hope is the state-accredited community sexual assault program dedicated to serving Kitsap and Pierce counties. Through trauma-focused therapy and comprehensive advocacy, we enable victim-survivors and their loved ones to find healing and regain control of their lives.

In addition to offering lifelong support, we are committed to prevention education across Kitsap and Pierce counties. Our work focuses on challenging harmful social norms and practices that contribute to sexual violence, with the goal of building safer, more informed communities.

All of our services are centered on the needs and choices of victim-survivors and their loved ones. We uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and respect for everyone who seeks our support. Services are available regardless of when the victimization occurred, and we welcome clients of all ages, gender identities, sexual orientations, races, ethnicities, immigration statuses, religions, and other historically marginalized identities.

Mission

Our Mission

Provide support…Promote healing…Partner to end sexual violence.

Our Vision

We aspire to build communities that do not tolerate oppressive social norms, behaviors or systems that promote sexual violence or exploitation. Communities where those who have been harmed are believed and supported in pursuit of their individual paths of healing. Communities where sexual violence does not exist, and their people are educated and empowered to center full choice, consent and safety.

Needs

At Rebuilding Hope, we’re dedicated to providing advocacy and therapy to victim-survivors of sexual assault and abuse, as well as prevention education for students and professionals. Our advocacy services are offered completely free of charge to ensure that every survivor, regardless of their circumstances, has access to the support they deserve. Additionally, therapy is available at a generous sliding-fee-scale, with appointments costing as little as $5 per session. To sustain and grow these vital programs, we rely on the generosity of donors.
