Shirley Hecker Memorial Scholarship

The Shirley Hecker Memorial Scholarship was made in memorial of Shirley Hecker, who passed away in December 2021, after a short battle with cancer. Shirley worked as a bus driver and more recently a custodian with the North Kitsap School District until her retirement in May 2021.

Her family remembers her by providing scholarships to students in the North Kitsap School District. Shirley enjoyed interacting with many of the students at the schools she worked at, and she would be honored to assist some of them with funds to help in their pursuit of higher education.
