Mission

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Foundation supports Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) in creating healthier communities and ensuring the access and availability of quality health care for all, regardless of ability to pay. VMFH's work is guided by our core values of Reverence, Integrity, Compassion, and Excellence. Over the years, our health care ministry has grown with the enduring goal of healing the mind, body, and spirit.

Description

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is a values-based organization with a 125-year history of providing trusted care and community service. Serving residents in King, Pierce, and Kitsap counties, VMFH includes St. Francis Hospital, St. Elizabeth Hospital, St. Joseph Medical Center, St. Anthony Hospital, St. Clare Hospital, Highline Medical Center, Harrison Medical Center, Regional Hospital Virginia Mason Medical Center, and 100+ Franciscan Medical Group primary and specialty care clinics, and the largest hospice and palliative care program in the state.

The Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Foundation provides funds for VMFH hospitals, programs, services, and community outreach. Community support is vital in sustaining VMFH's broad array of community outreach and education programs for underserved populations. These include ongoing support for patient programs including complementary Hospice Therapies, Cancer Navigation, Palliative Care, and Spiritual Care throughout the Puget Sound.

This year's Kitsap Great Give donations will support Virginia Mason Franciscan Health’s St. Michael Medical Center (SMMC).

At SMMC, we are committed to providing world class health care close to home.

Our highly efficient facility is equipped to cover every health concern. From our acclaimed specialty areas such as orthopedics, oncology, women’s health, primary care and more, to our award-winning health care teams who are committed to ensuring the right care at the right time with a caring touch, your support helps us to do what we do best -- deliver outstanding, compassionate care with exceptional outcomes.
