StandUp for Kids - Kitsap County is an all-volunteer chapter of a national organization that works to support and empower homeless and at-risk youth ages 12-24 toward lifelong personal growth. We strive to create in these youth a sincere belief in themselves. We provide basic necessities like weekend food bags, snacks and meals, hygiene supplies, clothing, shoes, bedding, shelter, even school supplies, and we partner with local schools, job training programs, counselors, businesses, nonprofit organizations and other community partners to connect youth with resources to help them transition from surviving to THRIVING!
The issue of youth homelessness in Kitsap County is VERY REAL.
