Summit Outreach Services (SOS) was started in 2024 by a group of folks from Summit Avenue Presbyterian Church and our surrounding neighborhood. In our first year, we served over 300 meals and through these dinners we have built up meaningful community connections. In partnership with Bremerton Housing Authority, we are launching a program to provide grants to help remove barriers for people moving into affordable housing.
The MISSION of Summit Outreach Services (SOS) is to facilitate opportunities for safe, affordable housing, supportive services, and meaningful connections to low income individuals and families in Kitsap County.
The VISION of Summit Outreach Services, in partnership with our community, is a future where everyone in Kitsap County has access to safe, affordable housing, healthy food, and support services as a basic human right and that all people are treated with dignity and respect as part of a connected community.
