We serve community meals on most Wednesdays throughout the year, welcoming families, seniors, and individuals from across our area. Each dinner offers more than nourishment. It is a chance to sit together, share conversation, and feel part of a caring community.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when gathering indoors was not possible, we continued cooking weekly meals and offered them as take-out so neighbors could safely bring dinner home. That commitment to care remains at the heart of our work today as we once again gather around shared tables.

We also support an outdoor community pantry and refrigerator, available to anyone at any time. Located just outside the kitchen doors, the pantry provides low-barrier access to food, including homemade meals, snacks for school-aged children, frozen meats, and fresh fruits and vegetables. This pantry is stocked through a mix of purchased food and generous contributions from our community.

Every meal served and every shelf stocked is made possible by volunteers.

Our mission has remained the same since the beginning: we serve community with every meal.

Mission

Our mission is simple and enduring: we serve community with every meal.

We do this by providing weekly community dinners and maintaining an outdoor pantry and refrigerator that offer low-barrier access to food at any time. Through shared meals and open food access, we nourish both bodies and relationships, creating a welcoming space where all are treated with dignity and care.

Needs

Funding is needed to sustain both our weekly community dinners and our outdoor pantry and refrigerator.

In recent years, extraordinary community generosity made it possible for us to continue serving during a time of great uncertainty. As giving patterns have shifted since then, ongoing support now plays a vital role in maintaining the consistent, reliable food access our community depends on.

Donations support the ingredients used to prepare shared meals, food to keep the outdoor pantry stocked with fresh and ready-to-eat items, and the essential kitchen equipment and supplies that are part of regular use in a busy community kitchen.

These resources help ensure that our doors stay open, our pantry remains available, and our community continues to be welcomed with care, week after week.
