The Shepherds and Angels is a faith-based nonprofit organization committed to creating a safer, more secure environment for women and children affected by domestic violence. We assist women, children, and veterans who are at high risk of homelessness. Our mission is to provide essential housing, support, resources, and empowerment to survivors, fostering their journey toward healing and independence.

Needs

The Shepherds and The Angels is seeking funding to support the renovation and outfitting of a women’s shelter designed to provide a safe, dignified, and healing environment for women and children escaping homelessness, domestic violence, and crisis situations.

🏗️ Renovation & Facility Improvements

Funding is needed to ensure the shelter meets safety, health, and accessibility standards while creating a welcoming space that promotes stability and recovery. Renovation needs include:

Interior repairs and updates (flooring, paint, drywall)

Bathroom and shower upgrades

Kitchen improvements for meal preparation

Electrical, plumbing, and lighting updates

Security enhancements (locks, cameras, secure entry systems)

ADA accessibility improvements where applicable

Furniture installation and common area setup

🛏️ Shelter Furnishings & Living Essentials

To support daily living and restore dignity, funding will help purchase:

Beds, mattresses, linens, and pillows

Dressers and secure storage units

Dining tables, chairs, and lounge furniture
