A Little Background

Toni's Ponies became an official 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization and 509(a)2 Public Charity back in 2019 but we've been rescuing, rehabilitating, re-homing, and providing sanctuary for mistreated horses for decades. Since 2019, we have been gaining a lot more attention and support from our community and beyond. Without the support of our amazing Toni's Ponies village which started with the Kitsap Community, we would not be where we are at today. From rescuing horses bound for slaughter, to people reaching out to us with a horse in need, we've provided a safe place for horses to land and get healthy while learning to trust people. In most cases, this process takes a lot of time, patience, and energy, along with resources. Every dollar that is raised for Toni's Ponies is put back towards the horses in a variety of ways. These things include rescue fees, feed, shelter building costs, and vet care just to name a few.

Our primary fundraising efforts are through annual events including our Toni's Ponies Annual Sale where we collect donations of items and host a "yard sale" and everything for sale is by donation. There is always a great turn out for this event and funds raised typically go towards purchasing hay to feed the horses for the year. Keep your eyes open for our next sale which is happening July 11-13.

We've rescued over 60 horses past years and we want to continue this difficult, but very rewarding work of saving the lives of these incredible creatures.

We hope to be able to meet all of you at one of our events in the future!

Giving Activity

Mission

At Toni's Ponies Horse Rescue our mission is two-fold. We are dedicated to rescuing horses from neglect, abuse, abandonment, and slaughter. Our goal is to improve the lives of horses by creating a safe haven for rehabilitation resulting in rehoming or living out the remainder of their lives at our sanctuary. While working with our equine partners we also aspire to impact the lives of people in our community by providing a place of education, therapy, and recreation.

Needs

Our needs include feed, vet care, shelter, and providing a safe space for rehabilitation.
