Vitalize Kitsap (VK) provides daily programming for Kitsap County teens and adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). VK members pursue personal growth and community inclusion to build lives of meaning and self-determination. VK is unique in Kitsap County because we're able to include people with IDD who are also medically fragile, need personal care assistance, and have physical disabilities.
VK provides opportunities and individualized guidance for our members to set and achieve goals, build relationships, learn and practice life and work skills, and to be fully involved in our wonderful community.

VK disrupts the cycle of isolation and exclusion that adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) encounter daily. Our daily programs strengthen diversity, equity, and inclusion for everyone.
VK provides equitable access to lifelong learning and inclusion for people with IDD, including the most vulnerable and less physically mobile. Everyone deserves to be welcomed, accepted, engaged community members who are shown dignity and respect. Our programs provide agency, personalized community access, social connections, and lifelong learning for people who have traditionally been excluded from adult community life.
