The Jewel Box Theatre of Poulsbo, WA, presenting real life in imaginary circumstances since 2000, serves the community through unique, intimate theater, providing quality theatrical productions and encouraging widespread participation in the performing arts (website www.jewelboxpoulsbo.org).
As an all-volunteer organization, each year we rely upon a group of over 300 volunteers to put on over 50 performances of our 6 full-length dramas (including musicals) and up to 10 of our one-of-a-kind Spotlight Series events (literary discussions, concerts, improv comedy).

Adding a Rehearsal Space
Last year, you helped us accommodate the chokepoints backstage that were discovered with our large cast and crew for this production. This was our "Build a Better Backstage" funding campaign.
This year, we address the next big limit on Jewel Box Theatre productions - the need to share the same stage for both rehearsal and performance. This sharing means that we cannot present as many shows per year, as we must also use our stage for rehearsals for the next show while presenting the current show.
We seek to raise funds to obtain the use of a space in which we can rehearse simultaneously with production.
