Leadership Kitsap Foundation was founded with the purpose of developing community leaders in Kitsap County to serve as catalysts for positive future change. For now 30 years, Leadership Kitsap is dedicated to training tomorrow's leaders; giving them the background, contacts and tools they need to shape and direct our future.

In the year of 2023, Leadership Kitsap is celebrating the 30 year anniversary since being founded in December 1993.

In addition to the Signature Program, we continue to host our community's 20 Under 40 Awards Program, Lift: Kitsap Women's Leadership Network, and professional development workshops. Our website contains several resources for emerging leaders including LK Reads recommended leadership reading list, Conversation with a Community Leader recordings, and past leadership development webinar recordings.

Leadership matters more than ever! Strong leaders build, and re-build, strong communities!  We are committed to fostering and empowering educated, prepared, and engaged community leaders in Kitsap!

Mission

Leadership Kitsap fosters and empowers educated, prepared, and engaged community leaders.

Needs

Your generosity during the Kitsap Great Give helps Leadership Kitsap do even more to equip leaders who serve with integrity, creativity, and impact.

Contributions support:

• Accessible Leadership Development

Your gift helps underwrite tuition assistance and scholarships for both the Signature Program and Premier Institute so that leaders across economic and professional backgrounds can participate and thrive.

• Enhanced Community Impact

Funding strengthens program quality — from curriculum and facilitation for Signature Program cohorts to targeted seminars and peer coaching experiences in the Premier Institute.

• Broader Reach and Engagement

Gifts help expand our visibility and community awareness, connecting more individuals and organizations with Leadership Kitsap’s opportunities for learning, growth, and civic involvement.

• Organizational Sustainability

Even with a lean team and volunteer-led board, Leadership Kitsap incurs ongoing operational costs — from program coordination to alumni engagement and communications — that are vital to delivering high-quality leadership development across the county.

Every gift made during the Great Give — at any level — helps build stronger leaders and fosters a more collaborative and resilient Kitsap community. Thank you for fueling leadership that strengthens our region today and for years to come.
