The United States Naval Undersea Museum is located in Keyport, Washington and is one of ten official Navy Museums across the country. With over 39,000 artifacts, the museum is an important repository for information and items related to undersea weapons, submarine technology, diving and salvage artifacts, and undersea vehicle technology. The museum is one of only 3% nationwide that have met the rigorous standards of accreditation by the American Alliance of Museums. Entry is free and the museum hosts free education events such as Science Saturday, Summer STEAM and Discover-E Day and provides a venue for community events such as Navy Band Northwest concerts.
The mission of our foundation is to provide essential financial support to the museum. This year, the Naval Undersea Museum Foundation is focusing on museum exhibit development, preservation and enhancement, supporting a summer intern for STEM / STEAM education and technology upgrades to improve exhibits as well as allow volunteers and staff to improve productivity. In addition, the foundation funds volunteer training and retention, community outreach, marketing and accessibility programs and so much more!
Please join us in helping the museum to preserve, protect and interpret important U.S. Naval undersea activity, technological development, and history. Your contribution will help sustain these programs for generations to come. Please help us continue to provide and expand this essential support to the museum! We thank you and encourage you to visit our amazing museum soon!
