North Kitsap Schools Foundation collaborates with local businesses, service organizations, and community members within the North Kitsap School District to provide donor funded grants that ensure NKSD educators have the resources necessary to provide students with a robust, modern education and an enlightened the future for all.
The North Kitsap Schools Foundation develops ongoing partnerships that bridge the gap between state funding and local needs to support academic and personal achievement for all North Kitsap School District students by supplying grant funding for teacher-driven programs that inspire students, spark innovation, and provide learning opportunities that go beyond the basics.
As school funding gaps widen, NKSF builds bridges between the community and the school district. From robotics kits to art supplies, field trips to hands-on science labs, the North Kitsap Schools Foundation funds the extras that make learning exciting for kids.
Throughout our 23 year history, NKSF has awarded nearly $950,000 in classroom grants. As one of our most important annual fundraising events, Kitsap Great Give significantly improves opportunities for North Kitsap students.
