Sound Works Job Center provides all the resources required for low-income, homeless individuals and returning Veterans to prepare for and find meaningful employment. All of these resources are provided free and one-on-one. Some of these resources are as follows: Individual one-on-one Employment Counseling. Professional written resumes and cover letters including Federal usajobs.gov resumes. One-on-one interview training. Provide over 1,500 open job listings located in Kitsap County. Free criminal background checks. Job referrals and placements. Typing speed testing and certification. Information on employment scams. Assistance in filling out applications. Information on local and national Job Lines and Employment Internet Sites.    

Mission

Sound Works Job Center’s mission is both immediate and far ranging. Our immediate mission is to provide every low-income and or homeless unemployment worker with the compassion, encouragement and tools he or she needs during their job search. Our long range mission is to promote community strength through individual job search success.

Needs

At the present time, all of our needs are met.

We do need additional funding as most other non-profits.
