How can I further support nonprofits in my community?
We encourage individuals to give to their favorite organizations year-round, as our region’s nonprofit organizations are an incredible force for good. Not only do they focus on eliminating the suffering caused by social problems, they also work – often in partnership with others – to prevent and eliminate the social problems that cause harm. Additionally, nonprofit organizations support the enrichment destinations and activities (such as museums, libraries, performing arts centers, parks and wild land preservation, community gatherings, festivals, etc.) we all enjoy as part of a vibrant community eco-system, often described as Kitsap’s quality of life.
However, in our community, the Kitsap Community Foundation works to advance – often in partnership – the common good in our region.
