Kitsap County Master Gardener Foundation

The goal of the Kitsap County Master Gardener Foundation is to educate and supplement the efforts of the Washington State University Master Gardener Program by providing horticulture information to the citizens of Kitsap County.   We raise funds to provide maintenance dollars that support our four demonstration gardens throughout the County. These gardens produce thousands of pounds of organic fruits and vegetables given to local food banks and charities.  In addition to the demonstration gardens we offer organic gardening classes to local communities, conduct children's educational programs at several of the gardens during the summer months , serve the community by offering diagnostic clinics at local farmers markets, special travel events at home shows and at the Kitsap County Fair.  We hold an annual plant sale each May to bring thousands of healthy and reasonably priced fruit and vegetable starts for sale grown by master gardeners and local sponsors.  The Foundation is committed to advancing the field of horticulture and creating a more sustainable and beautiful world, one garden at a time.
