Pollinators keep our local food systems, gardens, and wild landscapes functioning. Children learn this best through direct experience: watching bees work a flower, noticing how native plants feed insects through the seasons, and seeing how small habitat choices add up across a community.
Vista Gardens is building a Pollinator Education Program for Kitsap County school children that combines an on-site learning visit with classroom-ready materials and a simple take-home “starter kit” so the learning continues beyond the day of the visit.
Your gift helps cover the practical pieces that make school visits possible—transport support, trained docents, printed learning guides, and take-home resources that students can use to support pollinators where they live. 🌿
This campaign gives Kitsap children a vivid, hopeful experience of nature and a simple way to help pollinators at home.
