Silverwood School

Located halfway between Poulsbo and Silverdale in Kitsap’s Central Valley, Silverwood School has been engaging students in project-based, hands-on, outside-focused curriculum for over 35 years. 

On its 17-acre campus Silverwood’s students are often seen leaving the indoor classrooms to explore the woods, catalog plants and animals, build forts with friends and letting their innate creativity guide them. Silverwood welcomes students from Kindergarten to Eighth Grade.

At Silverwood School, we challenge our students to become confident, compassionate citizens and skilled, life-long learners that are literate, motivated, and intellectually adventurous.

Needs

Silverwood has a long deferred maintenance list that we are tackling. Our teaching and learning happen both outdoors on our 17-acre campus, as well as in the various 80-year old farm buildings that have been converted to classroom spaces. KGG affords Silverwood the opportunity to address some of the more exciting needs that our school has.
