The Pavilion
The centerpiece of the family-friendly community park for everyone we envision is a timber frame pavilion that blends in with the natural forest environment. It will provide shelter and shade as needed from prevailing weather and serve as a multi-purpose venue for live concerts, dances, weddings, reunions, presentations and any other events of interest to the community.
ADM Architecture of Poulsbo designed the 24’ x 36’ structure for us with review and approval by the structural engineering firm, NL Olson & Associates of Port Orchard. Our permit application to Kitsap County is approved and is ready for issue. The architectural design, structural analysis and permit application costs were funded by the sales to date of our engraved brick fundraiser and the 2025 Kitsap Great Give donations.
We solicited bids for the pavilion construction from several area contractors and have selected FPH Construction of Bremerton. The project timeline for installation is still to be determined as public and private donations received to date comprise only 10% of the total needed, so approximately $300,000 is still needed.
